PURPOSE:To prevent mismatching from being generated in document data, in the case a power source is disconnected in the course of editing operation. CONSTITUTION:A power source auto power OFF-function in the case a user's input is not executed for a prescribed time is stopped in the course of operation of document data. For instance, as for a document state flag, at the time of being 'saveable', a document is saved at the time when a power source is disconnected, and when the power source is turned on again, and at the time of being 'unsaveable', the document is not saved. As for an auto power OFF- control flag, at the time of being 'valid', an auto power OFF-function is operated, and in an 'invalid' period, the function is not operated. In the case of operating the document data, in the period extending from immediately before 902 for calling a text copy processing to until a processing 904 for defining the data in accordance with a result of its processing is finished, the document state flag, and the auto power OFF-control flag are set to 'unsaveable', and 'invalid', respectively, and there-after, the document state flags and the auto power OFF-control flag are set to 'saveable', and 'valid', respectively. |
