CONSTITUTION:A leading edge detection means 20 detecting the leading edge part in the carrying direction of the photoconductive sheet member carried by a pair of carrying rollers and outputting a detection signal, a set means optionally setting a count value for keeping the width of the front blank part from the leading edge part of the photoconductive sheet member by a laser exposure means 62 constant according to the variance of the carrying speed of a carrying mechanism including a pair of carrying rollers, a front blank part time arithmetic means counting a some fixed periodic signal when the detection signal is inputted from the detection means 20 and transmitting a synchronizing signal for calculating the end position of the front blank part when the counted value becomes equal to the set count value and a host computer 108 transmitting a front blank part end signal to the exposure means 62 in fixed timing after the sychronizing signal is detected are provided.
