The method improves goining property between frame and shadow mask by eliminating shadow mask skirt. The method comprises (A) forming a rectangular flat shadow mask (10) with the pressing process; (B) placing an welding face (15) of the shadow mask on the tip of a vertical member (24) of a frame (20); and welding them with the laser; and (C) cutting off the bead (16) determining the position.
