<p>PURPOSE:To control a head position for track bends optimally by using tracking error signals on plural positions of a track subjected to sample-and-hold in an approach run interval at the time of recording sound post-recording and performing tracking control. CONSTITUTION:In the approach run interval, a switch circuit 18 is turned on, and the switch circuit 22 is set to a 22A side. By the tracking error signals of both channels A, B from a comparator 6, a synthesis tracking error signal averaging the whole tracks is outputted through sample-hold circuits 8A-8C, 9A-9C, averaging circuits 11, 12, multiplier circuit 13, 14 and an adder 16 respectively. Further, the synthesis tracking error signal in an ITI area is processed by an operation circuit 17, and an obtained weighting coefficient alpha1 is stored in a memory 19. In the sound post-recording interval, the circuit 22 is set to a 22B side, by the tracking error signal in the ITI area of both channels A, B, the synthesis tracking error signal is provided through the circuits 10A, 10B, the circuits 20A, 20B and the circuit 21. At this time, the alpha1 is used as the weighting coefficient in the circuit 21.</p> |
