<p>PURPOSE:To correct the dispersion in a regenerative pilot level in tracking at the time of reproducing a magnetic tape where a pilot signal is recorded every other N tracks. CONSTITUTION:A level of a cross talk pilot extracted from the regenerative signals of heads 101, 103 reproducing a track where no pilots f1, f2 are recorded is corrected with correction circuits 119, 120 by using the levels of the pilots extracted from the heads 102, 104 reproducing the track where the pilot is recorded, and a correction output is added to a differential amplifier 121 to be provided with an ATF error signal. Thus, without using an AGC, etc., the deviation in tracking due to the fluctuation in the regenerative levels of the pilot signals f1, f2 is eliminated.</p> |
