<p>The invention provides a thrust bearing device which is simplified in an assembling work and in which freedom in assembly is obtained. A thrust bearing member (1) which comprises a thrust bearing portion (2) and a plurality of, for example, four projections (3A to 3D) provided around the thrust bearing portion (2), and a bearing retaining member (sleeve 5) which comprises a plurality of, for example, four recesses (6A to 6D) adapted for receiving the four projections (3A to 3D) provided around the thrust bearing portion (2) and engagements (7) adapted for engaging with the respective projections (3A to 3D) are used in such a manner as to insert the respective projections (3A to 3D) by means of the recesses (6A to 6D) and turn the same for engaging with the engagements (7), whereby the thrust bearing member (1) is mounted to the bearing retaining member (sleeve 5).</p> |
