PURPOSE:To increase the number of subscribers to be housed by reporting any specified channel as a switching candidate channel to peripheral base stations and switching the candidate channel to an idle channel when there is no idle channel to be allocated. CONSTITUTION:Base stations 1-2 to 1-7 investigate whether there is the number of its own base station in a signal or not and when there is such a number, it is investigated whether the switching candidate channel is used or not. When there is the idle channel, for which a power rate between a desired wave and an interferred wave satisfies a prescribed value, concerning all of the non-used channels, the switching channel is changed over to that idle channel. On the other hand, a base station 1-1 in a call originating zone measures the level of the interferred wave and the power rate between the desired wave and the interferred wave at the switching candidate channel and decides whether that rate satisfies a threshold value or not after a channel switching control signal is sent to peripheral zones. When interferred wave power is decreased and the power rate between the desired wave and the interferred wave satisfies the prescribed value by switching the channel, the candidate channel is allocated to a mobile station 2. |
