PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost efficiently by preventing generation of counter-electromotive force due to forward/reverse driving of a motor through the use of software. CONSTITUTION:The motor control system comprises a dedicated IC 2 for rotary driving a motor 1 based on a demand code Cd relating 5o the input rotational direction, an operating section 7 for generating a corresponding demand code Cd based on a detection signal S received from a light receiving section 6, a control section 9 for delivering the demand code from the operating section 7 to the dedicated IC, and an operational memory 12 for storing at least the previous demand code. The control section is constituted such that the current demand code Cd is delivered to the dedicated IC 2 upon elapse of a predetermined time when a current detection signal S is inputted within a predetermined time after provision of the previous detection signal S and the current demand code Cd based on the current detection signal S does not match the previous demand code Cd stored in the operational memory. |
