<p>A pump housing assembly (12) having two parts (14), each part (14) including an outer casing (16) and an inner lining (18) of elastomeric material. An insert component (40) comprising a body, including a lining section (44), is sandwiched between the housing parts (14) and co-operates with the inner lining (18) of the two housing parts (14) to form a pump chamber (20). The insert component (40) further includes a drainage hole (45) extending through the lining section (44) of the component (40) for permitting drainage of fluid from the pump chamber (20).</p> |
