PURPOSE:To provide a deterioration inspection device for an aerial wire which can remotely be mounted, cap be used for remote measurement, can eliminate a need for installing any cable such as optical fibers, and also can make inspection for deterioration in response to the intensity of excitation. CONSTITUTION:An aerial cable hold section 1 capable of being freely opened/ closed is provided at the upper end of an insulation bar 2, and concurrently, a remote open/close means 3 capable of opening/closing the hold section 1 from the lower end of the insulating bar 2, is provided for the insulating bar 2. And a second sensor 21 and a transmitter 23 transmitting the detected sound output to a receiver are mounted on the hold section 1. |
