In the case of post elements (1) and frame elements (2) which are to be connected mechanically to one another, provision is made for a sealing arrangement. The mechanical connection takes place via a clamping screw (8) and a bolt (7), with the result that the frame elements (2) and post elements (1), comprising the profile parts (3 and 4 and 5 and 6, respectively), can be fixed with respect to one another. The sealing arrangement comprises a supporting part (20) and a sealing element (22). The supporting part is of a flexurally rigid design and transmits the force from the surrounding border of the profile part (5) to the central through-passage bore (21), with the result that the region around the clamping screw (8) is sealed with respect to the frame element (2) and with respect to the clamping screw (8) itself. <IMAGE>
