PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body high in sensitivity and durability by forming a photosensitive layer containing a specified hydrazone compound on a conductive supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer formed on the conductive supporting body comprises a layer containing the hydrazone compounds represented by formula I in which each of Ar1 and Ar2 is arylene group; R1 is alkyl or aryl group; each of R2-R5 is H, halogen atom., alkyl, alkoxy, or substituted amino group, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be superior in the physical properties of a film and electrophotographic characteristics, such as potential stability, sensitivity, residual potential, resistance to fatigue deterioration even at the time of repeated uses, and stability against heat, ozone, and light. |
