SIMPLIFIED TRIGGER, SHUTTER AND FILM ADVANCE SYSTEM SUCH AS FOR USE IN A CAMERA

A simplified trigger (34), shutter (72) and film advance system such as for use in a camera. In a preferred embodiment the system is mounted in a housing (10 and 22) and includes a trigger (34) with a trigger button (38) for pressing by the operator and a trigger point (44) for advancing the film (11) in a film track (24), a shutter (72) which is simultaneously advanced by the trigger (34) with the film (11) and along a shutter track, a ramp (48) coupled to the housing which engages the trigger point (44) and causes the film (11) and shutter (72) to release, a spring (82) which is coupled to the housing (10 and 22) and the shutter (72) and causes the shutter (72) to return to its original position, and a light baffle (70) to reduce the amount of light exposed to the film (11) when the shutter (72) initially returns to its at rest position.
