PURPOSE:To prevent an accidental backing of a vehicle by providing a switch for detecting the backing position of an advance/back changeover switch while constructing such than an engine is misfired upon the function of a starter switch when the back position is detected. CONSTITUTION:If an advance/back changeover clutch is at the back position, a reverse switch 82 will close and a thyristor 110 is conducted by depressing a starter switch 108 irrespective of whether a main speed changer is in the neutral position. consequently, an ignition pulse from a pulse coil 92a will escape through the thyristor 110 to the earth, thereby a thyristor 98 will never close so that a spark from an ignition plug 102 is never produced. Upon exceeding over a setting speed lower than the idle rotation of engine, the gate of they thyristor 110 as a misfiring circuit is grounded so as to disable it. Consequently, an accidental backing of a vehicle can be prevented. |
