摘要 A method of finishing the flanks of gear-shaped workpieces, in particular such with crowned teeth, as well as an internally toothed tool (T) suitable for this are presented. The tool (T) meshes with the work gear (W) with their axes (CT, C2) crossed at a crossed-axes angle and is moved relative to the work gear (W) in the process, in the course of which a simultaneous interpolation of movements is effected not only in three axes (X, Y and Z) disposed perpendicularly to one another but also about the setting axis of the crossed-axes angle in such a way that not only are the tooth flanks of tool (T) and work gear (W) in tangential contact with one another but the partial bodies of tool (T) and work gear (W) in contact at a contact point (IV) constantly changing its position are also constantly in tangential contact with one another, in which case a straight line (g) passing orthogonally through the partial body of the tool (T) and the partial body of the work gear (W) at the respective contact point (IV) goes through the centre (I) of an ideal envelope sphere (KW) which closely adjoins the partial body of the work gear (W) at the contact point (IV). Ways of how the method is to conveniently proceed are shown, so that preliminary and finish honing can be carried out in one set-up with a tool (T) of appropriate configuration. <IMAGE>
