The invention relates to a display device for balancing machines, which displays the imbalance angular position or the compensating angular position and the imbalance magnitude or the magnitude of the compensating masses in an analogue representation. In this arrangement, the measured values are represented as an illuminated diagram on a monitor. To display the angular position, a diagram is provided in which an annular surface (5, 13) is visible on which, with the aid of a visible mark (1, 16), the respective angular position of the imbalance and also the direction of rotation (7, 12) and the current angular position (7, 12) of the rotor can be displayed. Provided within the annular diagram (5, 13) is a bar diagram (4, 14), whose displayed or marked length represents a measure of the imbalance magnitude or the compensating mass. In addition, within the bar diagram (4, 14), a tolerance range (9, 15) can be marked in accordance with which it is immediately recognisable whether, on the basis of the displayed imbalance magnitude, imbalance compensation must be carried out. <IMAGE>
