An extraction device essentially comprises a guide tube (2), a clamping element (3) and a tensioning wire (5). The adjoining front faces (15, 18) of the guide tube (2) and of the clamping element (3) each have a bevel designed so as to complement each other. The tensioning wire (5) is connected to the clamping element (3). By applying a tensile force on the tensioning wire (5), the clamping element (3) is moved on the bevel (15) in the direction of the proximal end of the extraction device (1), so that the maximum outside diameter of the guide tube (2) in the region of the bevel (15) is increased. The relatively long design of the bevels (15, 18) ensures frictionally engaged anchorage of the extraction device (1) in an electrode spiral (14) even in the case of low tensile forces. <IMAGE>
