The process for producing the helmet, in particular for cyclists, includes the steps of: a) preheating a mould; b) laying a film of plastic coated with printing ink into the lower mould of the mould; c) allowing the heating of the film of plastic until it deforms and hugs the cavity in the lower mould; d) introducing a polyurethane liquid; e) closing the upper mould; f) bringing the mould into a reaction chamber for foaming; g) allowing moulding; h) removal from the mould; i) cleaning out or trimming and making ventilation holes; j) packing.
