摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly of a restraining mechanism by providing a third member remaining in an interior product area after releasing a door between a door side first member and a interior product side second member in the restraining mechanism for door of an air bag restraining device. CONSTITUTION: A restraining mechanism 36 comprises a restraining cable 44 between an insert member 40 provided at the leading edge 10a of a door and a projected member 46 provided on a base material 48 of an instrument panel as an interior product. One end of the restraining cable 44 is connected to an anchor member 50 having a conical surface 50a, and the other end is connected to a threaded member 52 leading to a hole 54 in the projected member 46. When the door of a restraining device is opened by collision, the restraining cable 44 moves to a dotted line 44', falls down to the base material 48 side, and remains inside the interior product. With such a structure, a flange for locking and a clamp do not need to be positioned separately from each other, thus facilitating the assembly of the restraining mechanism.</p>
