PURPOSE:To reduce the percentage of non-conforming article at the changing- over of substocks and contrive to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION:In a stock feed unit, in which a main stock feed opening and a plurality of sub-stock feed openings 5 and 6 are provided adjoining each other at the base of a cylinder 2, in which a screw 3 is housed rotatably, for feeding plastic or the like to a molding machine, the respective feed openings 3, 5 and 6 are connected respectively with feed passages 7, 10 and 11. Further, in the respective sub-stock feed passages 10 and 12, switching shutters 24 and 25 are provided so as to mix sub-stock with main stock in the cylinder 2. |
