PURPOSE:To reduce operating force and exhibit sufficient parking brake performance with a light operating force. CONSTITUTION:In a parking brake 1 for vehicle in which brake wires 4L, 4R are pulled through an equalizer 3 by the operation of a parking means 2 to operate brakes 6L, 6R, a manual cylinder 24 interlocked by the parking means 2 is provided. A spool valve 28 opened and closed by the operation of the manual cylinder 24 is provided. The equalizer 3 is operated through the parking cylinder 24 by the oil pressure L of an oil pressure source 34 regulated by the spool valve 28, and the brake wires 4L, 4R interlocked with the equalizer 3 are pulled to operate the brakes 6L, 6R. The oil pressure source is an accumulator 34. |
