<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject ink, containing specific amounts of a fluorescent pigment, lactitol and water as essential components, capable of maintaining the initial fluorescent color without discoloring a script applied onto heat- sensitive recording paper even after the lapse of a long period and useful for marking pens, etc. CONSTITUTION:This water-based fluorescent pigment ink is obtained by blending a fluorescent pigment in an amount of 10-30wt.% based on the whole composition with lactitol in an amount of 0.3-3 times based on the fluorescent pigment expressed in terms of weight ratio and water as essential components and, as necessary, further blending a humectant such as glycerol, a surfactant, a preservative, a defoaming agent, etc., as other components therewith. This ink is capable of maintaining the initial fluorescent color without discoloring a script applied onto heat-sensitive recording paper even after the lapse of a long period. Furthermore, a prescribed amount of the water-based fluorescent pigment ink is filled in a marking pen provided with a pen unit composed of a resin-finished fibrous bundle unit and a fibrous bundle ink absorption unit.</p> |
