PURPOSE:To facilitate bathing for a child, an aged person and a physically handicapped person by closing a door formed to be freely openable and closeable on one side of the bathtub after opening the door to enter the bathtub, and allowing hot water pumped up by a pump into a tank in the upper part of the bathtub to fall into the bathtub by opening a valve. CONSTITUTION:On one side wall of a bathtub 6, a door 10 whose hinge 7 can be opened and closed freely with a lock 8 is attached watertightly by packing 9. Also, in the upper part of the bathtub 6, a tank 1 is provided, and hot water is pumped up in advance by a pump 2 from a water absorbing tube 3. At the time of bathing, after opening the door 10 and entering the bathtub, the door 10 is closed, and the door 10 is closed with the lock 8. Subsequently, by opening a valve 5, hot water pumped up into the tank 1 in advance is allowed to fall into the bathtub 6.
