Process for the catalytic cracking of a hydrocarbon feedstock, comprising contacting the feedstock with a catalyst composition comprising a zeolite I having a pore diameter larger than 0.7 nm and a zeolite II having a pore diameter smaller than 0.7 nm, which composition further comprises at least one dehydrogenating metal or metal component, under catalytic cracking conditions.
