PURPOSE:To obtain a cutting oil little in adverse effects on the environment and human body, ready to wash away from objects by simply using water, by admixing a cutting oil composition with a dicarboxylic ester-incorporated specific mixture. CONSTITUTION:This cutting oil can be obtained by admixing (A) an oil composition prepared by mixing (1) a mineral oil as the main component with (2) an antioxidant, (3) a rust-proofing agent, etc., with (B) a mixture of (4) a mineral oil and (5) a dicarboxylic ester with an aliphatic hydrocarbon as the main chain. The preferable amounts of the respective components to be used are as follows: component B: 5-100 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component A; component 5: 0.1-15 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component 4. |
