PURPOSE:To obtain the title apparatus wherein, in order to obtain a signal in a good S/N ratio without making a circuit scale large, one photodetector is provided with one storage part and a direction in which a photocurrent flows in a light-projecting operation is made opposite to that in a light-nonprojecting operation. CONSTITUTION:A signal which is issued by a light-projecting part 11 is received by a light-receiving part 12, a sequence controller 14 controls the light-projecting part 11, and a light-projecting operation and a light-nonprojecting operation are repeated. A signal conversion part 13 reverses a direction in which a photocurrent flows in the light-projecting operation/the light-nonprojecting operation of the light-projecting part 11, and the direction is stored in a storage part 16. An initialization part 15 which is controlled by the sequence controller 14 initializes the stored content of the storage part 16 and charges/discharges the junction capacitance of the light-receiving part 12. A distance-measuring operation part 18 performs a distance-measuring operation via an output part 17 on the basis of a value which has removed background light by the storage part 16. |
