The method involves receiving parameters associated to a key during a phase of exchanging the parameters between a source device/terminal i.e. set top box (100), and a source node (101) i.e. network access point. A private content i.e. audio-video type data flow, encrypted with the key, is received by the node during a transmission phase between the device/terminal and the node. The content encrypted with the key is transmitted to a destination node (104) by the node (101). A password is associated to the content for permitting conditioning of an access of the parameters by the node (104). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for receiving a private content (2) a downloadable computer program product comprising instructions to perform a method for transmitting a private content (3) a storage medium comprising instructions to perform a method for transmitting a private content (4) a source node for transmitting a private content between source and destination devices (5) a destination source for receiving a private content by a destination device.
