PRODUCTION OF THIN FILM AND COLOR FILTER

PURPOSE:To produce a thin film and a color filter having high spectral transmissivity and excellent in adhesive property. CONSTITUTION:An electric conductive substrate is introduced into a micelle dispersed liq. or a micelle solubilizing soln. while regulating the average particle diameter (r) of the dispersed particles of a hydrophobic substance in the liq. or soln to <100nm and the particle diameter distribution to <=(r+ or -50)nm. Electric current is then supplied to the substrate to form a thin film and this thin film is dried at <=140 deg.C. The objective thin film and color filter having high transparency and spectral transmissivity and excellent in adhesion are obtd.
