PURPOSE:To provide a fruitful pretension effect of a seat belt device in an inexpensive and simple structure. CONSTITUTION:An expansion structured body 10 comprises a bag-like body which, when belted, is usually kept belt-like and a gas production means 20 which expands the bag-like body in a fusiform by introducing produced gas into the bag-like body which is communicated to the opening end of the bag-like body according to a specified signal. One end of the expansion structured body 10 is connected to a webbing end 2b. The other end of the expansion structured body 10 is fixed to a specified fixing part to remove the slack of a webbing 2 by shortening the longitudinal overall length of the expansion structured body 10 caused by the expansion of the bag-like body.
