PURPOSE:To detect the presence or not of the record disc on a turntable by providing a magnet and detecting pins to the turntable and providing a detecting switch or the like to the rotated body part. CONSTITUTION:When a record disc 11 is not placed on a turntable 1, a magnet 4 and detecting pins 6 are pushed upward by the gravity of weights 9 and a detecting switch 10 is OFF. Next, when the record disc 11 is placed on the turntable 1, the detecting pins 6 are pushed and moved downward. On the other hand, the weights 9 move upward to take balance with the record disc 11, and the magnet 4 descends in cooperation with the detecting pins 6, causing the detecting switch 10 to go ON. In this way, the presence or not of the record disc 11 may be detected simply by placing the record disc 11 on the turntable. |
