PURPOSE:To make the length of a preforming mold in a longitudinal direction shorter enough than that of a finishing mold to reduce equipment cost, and improve the handling of a mesh belt-like intermediate and enhance the workability therefor by making the shape of said intermediate smaller than that of a finished product. CONSTITUTION:A mesh belt-like intermediate 5 is formed by fitting linear materials 2 into grooves 4 among meshes of a preforming mold 3 and carrying out preforming, and finishing molding is carried out by fitting the mesh belt-like intermediate 5 into grooves 7 among meshes of a finishing mold 6. In the preforming mold 3, the mesh belt-like intermediate 5 is compressed in a longitudinal direction rather than a finished shape A and formed into a shrink shape B extended in a widthwise direction. This mesh belt-like intermediate 5 having the shrink shape B is compressed in widthwise direction, while being extended in a longitudinal direction, and fitted into the grooves 7 among the meshes of the finishing mold 6. |
