PURPOSE:To efficiently dehydrate a molded object by attaching a suction pipe having sponge attached to the leading end thereof to the arm of a working robot and sucking up the water accumulated in a container-shaped molded object by the suction pipe moving according to a predetermined pattern. CONSTITUTION:A suction pipe 14 having sponge 16 provided to the leading end thereof is attached to the leading end of the articulated arm 12 of a working robot 10. A suction hose 18 is connected to the rear end of the suction pipe 14 and the water accumulated in the container-shaped molded object demolded from a pressure cast molding machine is sucked up through the suction pipe 14. At this time, the position of the molded object is accurately detected by a CCD camera to scan the entire area of the bottom surface of the molded object and the suction pipe 14 is moved according to a predetermined pattern to dehydrate the molded object. After the sponge 16 is immersed in a washing water tank, it is pressed to a net to squeeze out water from the sponge 16. Therefore, the water on the bottom surface of the molded object is sufficiently removed and the cracking of the molded object during a drying process is prevented. |
