ACRYLIC SYNTHETIC FIBER STRUCTURE EXCELLENT IN ULTRAVIOLET RAY TRANSMISSION-PREVENTING PROPERTY AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To produce the acrylic synthetic fiber having good washing resistance, soft in touch and excellent in the ultraviolet ray transmission-preventing property, and to provide a method for industrially easily and inexpensively produce the acrylic synthetic fiber excellent in the ultraviolet ray transmission-preventing property. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of this acrylic synthetic fiber structure is holding of a benzophenone UV ray-absorbing agent on the fiber surfaces of the acrylic synthetic fiber structure. The method for producing the acrylic synthetic fiber structure comprises immersing an acrylic synthetic fiber structure in a treating solution containing the benzophenone UV ray-absorbing agent and subsequently thermally treating the immersed acrylic synthetic fiber structure to fix the benzophenone UV ray-absorbing agent to the acrylic synthetic fiber structure.
