PURPOSE:To obtain the title device wherein a distance is measured by attaching greater importance to a release time-lag than distance-measuring accuracy in a multipoint distance-measuring mode in which the distance-measuring time becomes long and the distance is measured by attaching greater importance to the distance-measuring accuracy than the release time-lag in a one-point distance-measuring mode in which the distance-measuring time becomes short. CONSTITUTION:When pulsed light is emitted from an IRED 12, a subject 16 is irradiated with the pulsed light via a light-projecting lens 14, and reflected light from the subject 16 reaches a PSD 13 through a light-receiving lens 15. In an AF circuit 11, distance-measuring information I/L is computed depending on the point of the PSD 13 where the reflected light from the subject 16 is returned, and it is output to a control part 18. An M/S switch 19 sets either a multipoint distance-measuring mode or a one-point distance-measuring mode. According to the distance-measuring mode which is selected by the M/S switch 19, values of the number of light-emitting operations and of the integration time of the IRED 12 are sent to the control part 18 from an adjusting-value storage part 17, and the values are decided and output to the A/F circuit 11. |
