PURPOSE: To prevent the concentration of mixture from increasing in violently vibrating a vehicle in traveling. CONSTITUTION: A float bowl 12 is extended across the wall of a housing 14 in the front and rear parts of a carburetor. When the oil surface 48 is a desired height and if excessive fuel is added thereto by sloshing and foaming of the fuel in the float bowl, this constitution can reduce the increase in the oil surface and reduce the ill effects affecting on the fuel flow. Extension parts 44, 46 in the frontward and rearward of the float bowl 12 are gradually bent as shown by numerals 50 and 52 in Fig. respectively. The bending of the front extension part 44 and the rear extension part 46 of the float chamber 12 can reduce or prevent the foaming of the stored fuel in abrupt movement of the carburetor generated in a vehicle passing over bumps continued at small intervals.
