PURPOSE: To provide a laser fiber optic probe for an operation of pulpy tissue which is structurally simple, which can be manufactured at low costs, which can move in a narrow and small blood vessel and which distributes uniform laser radiation energy on an objective surface. CONSTITUTION: It relates to a fiber optic probe for laser operation of such pulpy tissue as an angioplasty. The fiber optic probe has a beam incident end 23, a beam discharge end 22, beam transmitting cores 18 and a part of optic fiber formed by a cladding 19 as a result of a part of the beams being removed by through-holes 20 and 21. The laser beams reach the probe, passing the part of the optic fiber and are placed so that the transverse axis of the fiber bees to the transverse direction against an affected area. Control is performed by selecting a distributing pattern of the through holes which require the distribution intensity of output beams. |
