PURPOSE:To obtain a treating agent for synthetic fibers, improving the mutually monofilament-interlacing property, heat resistance, smoothness, and fiber-metal roller smoothness of the synthetic fibers, and enabling stable production operations for the synthetic fibers for long times. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of this treating agent for synthetic fibers is that the mixture of (A) 35-45wt.% of a dibasic fatty acid ester compound having a mol.wt. of 600-1000 and not containing an alkylene oxide, (B) 35-45wt.% of a dibasic fatty acid ester compound having a mol.wt. of 600-1000 and containing 20-50wt.% of ethylene oxide, (C) 5-20wt.% of a polyhydric alcohol alkylene oxide-added ester compound having a mol.wt. of 1500-2500 and containing 38-63wt.% of the alkylene oxide, and (D) 5-20wt.% of a higher alcohol alkylene oxide adduct having a mol.wt. of 1000-2000 and containing 5-20wt.% of alkylene oxide accounts for >=90wt.% of the treating agent. |
