PURPOSE:To provide a pipe joint for a synthetic resin pipe or for a composite pipe of a metal and synthetic resin which is constituted to have a high mechanical strength and prevent a fit-in part from permanent set in fatigue and breakage, have excellent sealing ability of a connection part and simplify structure and reduce size in addition to difficulty in slip out of a connection pipe. CONSTITUTION:A connection pipe P is inserted in an annular gap between the guide part 22 of a pipe coupling body 2, where a flange part 21, a guide part 22, and a fastening part 23 are integrally formed. A box nut 4 is screwed in the fastening part 23 and a narrow split ring 5 is moved forward and diameter is reduced. The connection pipe P is strongly compressed for deformation. The inner surface of the connection pipe P is brought into pressure contact with an annular packing 3 in an annular groove 221 formed in the outer periphery of the end part of the guide part 22 to effect sealing and simultaneously the connection pipe P is grasped to make it difficult to slip out. |
