PURPOSE:To provide the method for molding a composite material formed by sticking paper and metallic plate which eliminates the molding defects of the composite material at the time of molding, for example, an air conditioning duct, roof material, wall material, etc., and further maintaining the lubricity of the metallic plate at the time of continuously molding the composite material by using a molding device by molding the composite material to a folded plate form or corrugated plate form. CONSTITUTION:The paper is impregnated with >=5wt.%, more preferably >=10% and <30wt.% water and is then molded at the time of molding the composite material 1. The paper is impregnated with the water incorporated with a lubricant dispersible in water and/or thickener soluble in water particularly in the case of increasing of the passage speed of the composite material to the die 3 of the molding device or in the case of the metallic material having a surface characteristic of poor affinity to water. |
