A voice guide system for the blind is provided to enable the blind to notice a voice guide service available region without directly operating a remote controller or a voice guide device. In a voice guide system for the blind, a signal transmitter(100) comprises a code signal generating unit(104) periodically generating a specific code signal and an RF(Radio Frequency) transmitting unit(102) transmitting the specific code signal generated in the code signal generating unit, to the outside. A first voice guide device(110) is composed of a communication unit(111) receiving the specific code signal from the signal transmitter, a voice output unit(116) outputting guide voice data as audible sound, a position detecting unit(113) sensing whether the specific code signal is transmitted to the communication unit or not and detecting the receiving distance of the received signal if the specific code signal is detected, and a control unit(112) outputting the guide voice through the voice output unit if the receiving distance of the signal detected in the position detecting unit is within a predetermined range. |
