<p>PURPOSE:To assemble a preloaded rolling bearing without damaging a raceway surface or a rolling surface, and execute the work to push the rolling bearing into an inner ring by exciting it with small energy. CONSTITUTION:An inner ring 11 having a second inner ring raceway track 12 is externally fitted in a shaft 9 having a first inner ring raceway track 10. The pitches of the raceway tracks 10, 12 are larger than the pitch necessary for providing the prescribed pre-load. Balls 5, 5 are incorporated between the outer ring raceway tracks 14, 14 on the inner circumferential surface of the outer ring 13 and the first and second inner ring raceway tracks 10, 12. The balls 5, 5 are arranged at equal space in the circumferential direction. Then, the inner ring 11 is deviated in the axial direction while the rolling bearing device being vibrated by piezo elements 31a, 31b. The resonance frequency of the rolling bearing device is detected by a vibration sensor 22 to provide the necessary pre-load.</p> |
