PURPOSE:To transfer various printing patterns in the optimum dry state by measuring the temp. of a transfer medium after the formation of an ink image and transferring the ink image to a recording medium according to the temp. change of the transfer medium. CONSTITUTION:A temp. detection circuit 6 issues the output of a temp. sensor 5 as digital temp. data capable of being processed by an operation device 9. The operation device 9 receives a printing command and a printing pattern to drive a transfer driving device 8 and a transfer drum driving device or a feeding device to perform printing operation and further executes the patterning or comparison processing of the data of the temp. detection circuit 6. A recording head 2 receiving the supply of ink from an ink tank 21 selectively emits ink from a plurality of nozzles according to the rotation of a transfer drum 1 and the printing pattern to write an ink image on the transfer drum 1. Recording paper 10 is pressed to the transfer drum 1 by a pressure roller 3 and the ink image on the transfer drum 1 is transferred to the recording paper 10 accompanied by the rotation of the transfer drum 1. |
