PURPOSE:To open easily a metal can, a plastic can, etc., without causing a pulltab to damage or soil contents, by providing the side wall of the container with a raised part which receives a small lid having a pulltab, and by positioning the front end of the pulltab onto the raised part. CONSTITUTION:A raised part 2d for receiving a small lid 3 is provided on the internal surface of the side wall 2b of a container 2. The small lid 3 consists of an opening part 3a with a pulltab, and a container-sealing rim 3b around the opening part 3a. A yielding line 3a1 and the arc-like front end of the pulltab 4 are positioned in the raised part 2d, and on a pulltab-fixing central surface 3a2 the pulltab 4 is fixed to a sheet whose flexural rigidity is lower than that of the pulltab 4. Therefore, when the pulltab 4 is lifted, the pulltab 4 is not bent but the sheet is bent toward the pulltab 4 to form a projection, furthermore, while the sheet to which the front end of the pulltab 4 is firmly fixed receives a tensile stress, the sheet slides onto the raised part 2d and toward the sheet center, the yielding line 3a1 breaks in the course that, and then the sheet continues to break along the yielding line 3a1. |
