PURPOSE:To shift the mutual operating timing of an upper pawl/lower claw and the arbitrailily setting operating timing so as to flexibly cope with a work by providing the drive mechanism to respectively/independently operate the upper pawl/lower pawl. CONSTITUTION:As a working head 2 approaches, an upper pawl/lower claw retracting type work clamp device makes the upper claw 6/lower claw 7 retract. The upper claw/lower claw are arranged with a drive mechanism to independently operate each claw. Also, a drive mechanism of the upper claw 6 is constituted so that at releasing holding of the work 1 the upper claw 6 is moved away from the work 1 after the upper claw is moved upward. Further, the adjusting mechanism to adjust an upward travel of the upper claw 6 is provided. By this method, the mutual operating timing of the upper claw/lower claw is shifted, arbitrarily setting operating timing, also, it is flexibly coped so as not to impair working in the case of a different work shape. |
