<p>PURPOSE:To develop a high corrosion resistant starting sheet in which the electrodepositing properties and peeling properties of electrolytic copper are excellent, at the time of precipitating electrolytic copper on a starting sheet as a cathode by electrolysis using crude copper as an anode, by using a stainless steel sheet having specified surface roughness as the starting sheet. CONSTITUTION:A sheet material of refined crude copper obtd. by subjecting copper to dry refining is used as a consumable anode, a stainless steel sheet is used as a cathode, and direct current energizing is executed in an aq. soln of copper sulfate + sulfuric acid to precipitate electrolytic copper having extremely high purity on the stainless steel sheet as a cathode. In this case, as the stainless steel sheet as a cathode to be used, a cold rolled stainless steel sheet with a fine honeycomb pattern in which the center line average roughness (Ra) on the surface is regulated to 0.15 to 0.6mum and the ten-point average roughness (R2) is regulated to 0.7 to 2.5mum is used. The stainless steel starting sheet excellent in durability as a cathode starting sheet and in which the phenomenon that the thin sheet of the electrolytic copper precipitated on the surface naturally peels from the stainless steel starting sheet in the process of electrolytic refining to cause short-circuit means is eliminated and the phenomenon that the peeling of the electrolytic copper thin sheet from the stainless steel starting sheet is conversely made difficult is also eliminated can be obtd.</p> |
