The subject of the invention is to develop further a ring-spinning machine of this type in such a way that its conveying system is more flexible. This object is achieved in that guide tracks for the guidance of trolleys extend along the conveyor belts. Drivers are fastened in at least every second orifice of the conveyor belts which are conventionally arranged for the alternating reception of attaching mandrels for cops and empty tubes at half the spindle spacing. These drivers serve for the positive conveyance of the trolleys, the trolleys possessing for this purpose, on their underside, recesses for the engagement of the drivers. The trolleys each have an attaching mandrel for receiving an empty tube and a cop. The length of the trolleys in the direction of the alignment of the two attaching mandrels is less than the spindle spacing. <IMAGE>
