TUNNEL TIMBERING METHOD

The construction method minimizes the tunnel deformation by coupling circular steel supprts in a digging direction by the subsidence prevention beams connectable in a line. The construction method comprises the steps of: excavating the upper part of the tunnel by a predefined length; connecting a plurality of circular supports (2) to beam support plates (8) with bolts (12); connecting one beam (1) to another beam (1) with bolts (11) over the floor of the upper part of the tunnel; excavating the lower part of the tunnel by a predefined length; connecting a plurality of circular supports (2') to beam support plates (8') with bolts.
