Bag tearing-open and emptying press

For tearing open and splitting up refuse bags filled with recyclable material, there is a refuse-bag press which is arranged between a conveyor delivering the refuse bags and a sorting band. This press has a feed funnel and a tearing chamber as well as a press piston which presses the refuse bags entering the tearing chamber through the latter, the refuse bags being at all events torn open because they are of course, at the same time, fixed by the slitting-open parts of the tearing chamber, but at the latest are fixed by the discharge, or the associated slide, arranged on the end face of the tearing chamber, in such a way that splitting up is at all events guaranteed. This twofold splitting up guarantees that the recycling material delivered in the closed refuse bags is exposed completely. <IMAGE>
