The invention relates to a shelf made of punched and folded cardboard material, which consists of a rectangular flat part and of a side wall (3) bounding the flat part and integrally folded out from a blank. To form the side wall (3), the side-wall projecting length (4) is arranged in each case at the edge of the flat part (2), consisting of three parallel strips which are interconnected by fold regions (8, 9), namely - a side-wall outer strip (5), - a side-wall inner strip (6), - a connecting strip (7), in the case of which the side-wall outer and side-wall inner strips are folded in a V-shape towards one another and the connecting strip, lying on the flat part (2), is fastened to the latter. <IMAGE>
