摘要 |
The invention relates to an individual-wheel suspension for passenger-vehicle wheels (1) sprung by means of torsion bars (10) aligned in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, the wheel carriers (2) of the said wheels each being pivoted to the vehicle superstructure (3) by means of two triangular wishbones (4, 5) arranged one above the other at a distance from one another. In order to achieve a compact design which is simple in construction and takes up little space, the ball-and-socket joints (6) connecting the two wishbones (4, 5) to the wheel carrier (2) are, in a departure from the prior art, not arranged within the wheel rim as close as possible to the longitudinal centre plane (13) of the wheel but well towards the inside of the vehicle. In corresponding fashion, the two wishbone mounts (7a, 7b; 8) attached to the superstructure and spaced apart are not, as is customary, arranged towards the inside of the vehicle but in each case towards the outside of the vehicle in a plane running at least approximately through the longitudinal centre plane (13) of the wheel. In this way, it is possible for the torsion bars (10) connected torsionally to the lower wishbones (4), likewise to be accommodated towards the outside of the vehicle, more precisely within the deformation-resistant side members (11) which generally extend there. <IMAGE>
